Grampian Test & Certification Ltd was established in 1990 to meet the demand for increased contractor involvement in the supply, repair and management of lifting equipment, from initial purchase right through to the end of it's operational life.

It brought together a wealth of experience in the lifting equipment industry, and the desire to provide the customer with what they want.

Throughout the last decade the company has grown considerably and at the end of 2003 the company relocated to a large state of the art Head Office in Denmore Road, Aberdeen as well as retaining the woodside road site. The company changed it's name to gtc group in 2005 to better reflect the range of products and services now offered.

The use of technology and innovation has secured it's place as the market leading supplier of lifting equipment services to the UK Oil and Gas Industry and beyond. 

since October 2007, gtc are now part of the Cosalt group and continue to develop our core products in the areas where Cosalt is already located now and in the future
